Congratulations, Tiffany! & Getting Ready for Summer…
First, I hope everyone had a fabulous Mother’s Day! The last couple of weeks have been so fun watching the voting for the entries in our Your Sunday Best Contest. Congratulations to our winner, Tiffany DeVeney! This is her photo entry and it’s easy to see how she was able to get 103 likes for this little bunny! And a big THANK YOU to all of our contest participants! All of your little ones are precious and I am so proud of you for capturing those beautiful moments and grateful to you for sharing them. I was so impressed with how the childrens’ personalities came through in your photos. When you capture those candid shots rather than just posed, “say cheese” photos, you will always end up with a treasure. As we move into fun summer activities, don’t forget to get into some of the photos with your little ones! Your kids love you the way you are and will appreciate photos of you when they grow up…just like we appreciate photos of our moms from way back when today. Until next time…I know this is sounds crazy but please spend a second or two thinking about planning ahead this year for your holiday family portrait. (I can hear you gasping…”did she really just mention the holidays???”) I promise I will make it worth your while. : )
Your Sunday Best Contest Winner

Fancy All Day Long | Temecula Photographers
This morning when I came into the studio I wanted to practice a bit of light that’s not really my typical lighting style. I like to switch it up when I can. Good thing Brandy came in when she did, cause it’s not easy to photograph yourself with a 70-200 mm lens on a tripod and a cable shutter reales…. But I digress… I wanted to have a more high fashion head shot look. And what do you know I got it… For all you photographers out there it was f/11 and one big light with silver reflector. Some fancy photoshop, my own skin softening receipt and some more blur added for a bokeh effect. Brandy says this picture will make her feel fancy all day long.

It’s a Beautiful Tuesday | Temecula Photographers
In the photo studio today (Murrieta). Working on retouching some amazing head shots for an individual who has one of the most vibrant personalities, I have ever known. I posted some amazing new testimonials on my Raves page…. Man I’ve got some unbelievably kind clients. Then I’ll be off to Poway to photograph some sweet little boys. What should I listen to on my Pandora radio to keep me from being distracted though… hmmm decisions decisions.. No Facebook… No Facebook… No Facebook… hahah! -Amy
